The Kennedy High School girls’ basketball team put on an impressive show Thursday night, beating McClymonds High School 84-53. For head coach Rae Jackson, the win also marked his first victory over Mack in four years. “We played well,” Jackson said after the big win. “We didn’t play down. The Kennedy Eagles played for the Tri-County Stone League Championship against the Hercules Titans on Friday night. For the second year in a row, the Titans got the better of the Eagles, this time beating them 34-33. Both teams will still advance to the CIF North Coast Section playoffs.
