Muay Thai boxing in Richmond
on November 24, 2013
The Anouphab Mud Muay Thai Lao Academy on MacDonald Avenue teaches residents the ancient martial art of Muay Thai. The gym owner goes by the name Master Tee. He fled war torn Laos in 1979, and now teaches Richmond residents how to fight using “all eight” limbs—knees, elbows, arms and legs.
Master Tee’s students also learn about culture, respect, and tradition.
