At Skeletonfest, this year’s Fall Family Day at the Richmond Art Center, parents and children made crafts to celebrate Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. One crafting table held supplies for making paper marigolds, or cempasuchil. The flowers are thought to guide the spirits of the dead to their families one last time before they move on to the underworld. Photo by Ariel Plotnick.
