Barks, bubbles, and baths in Richmond

on September 11, 2014

Mudpuppy’s Tub & Scrub/Sit & Stay Cafe is a washing and grooming facility for dogs, as well as a cafe and gathering place for their owners. Mudpuppy’s has three locations in the Bay Area, one of which is located at the southern border of one of the largest off-leash dog parks in the country, the 23-acre Point Isabel Dog Park in Richmond.

Lynn Duncan and her six-year-old labrador retriever Dakota have been going to Mudpuppy’s for four years. Duncan says the location is convenient due to its proximity to the park and the large wash tubs with stairs that easily accommodate her 78-lb. lab.

Mudpuppy’s Sit & Scrub/Sit & Stay Cafe, at #1 Isabel St., can be reached at 510-559-8899.
