Solis will spend the holidays in the sterile confines of John Muir Medical Center, where his 19-year old sister, Dominique Romero, is recovering from a gunshot wound.

More than 300 people attended the 6th Annual Black History Celebration held Friday at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium.
