Richmond is a city that celebrates its history. On Saturday, the sixth annual Home Front Festival in the Craneway Pavilion at Ford Point, paid homage to the importance of World War II in the shaping and growth of the city. Hundreds came and went throughout the sunny day, enjoying the interactive history booths, live music, and displays.

Eagles crush Cougars for second league win

The Kennedy Eagles shut down the Albany Cougars 36-0 on Friday for their second win in a row. “I think they are starting to remember what they are playing for,” said Head Coach Mack Carminer. Candidates appeal to potential first-time voters

Candidates for the Richmond City Council, Congress and the West Contra Costa Unified School District school board appealed to Richmond youth at a Kennedy High School candidate’s forum Thursday.
