Downtown Richmond is a little brighter now thanks to the local muralists who participated in this year’s Bay Area Mural Festival. Rich City Rides is hosting a bike tour of the new murals this Sunday at 10 am.
Richmond Tool Library will celebrate its one-year anniversary at an event Sunday at noon. The event will also celebrate the successful crowdfunding effort to replace tools that were stolen last month.

In response to gun violence in Richmond, a coalition of faith leaders and community members has organized these evening walks since 2011. They arrange them in concert with local church groups, and they take place in different crime-affected neighborhoods.
