I’d be curious to know how many favored, how many opposed, and how many were neutral in your interviews. Did you show everyone you interviewed?
For myself, I’m strongly opposed to the casino and have written city, county, and federal representatives expressing my opposition.
Our area doesn’t need casinos that pull money out of our community, but rather good businesses that help build wealth and stability in our community.
Thank you for your comment, Ted. In this video, we showed almost everyone we interviewed. (All but one, if I remember correctly.) But it’s important to note that Richmond Speaks videos are not representative samples. That being said, I would estimate that a majority of the people we approached were neither for or against the casino, but didn’t know about it.
