Sheriff’s Office searching for missing El Sobrante woman

The Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 71-year-old Latina believed to be in the Sherwood Forest area of El Sobrante.

Sheriffs identified the woman as Martha Franks, who was last seen about 1 p.m. Tuesday on Kay Ann Court in El Sobrante.

Franks is described as being five feet tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds with dark grey hair and brown eyes.

Franks was wearing a long black jacket, black pants, a black and grey shirt and black shoes.

Franks is believed to need medical attention and may appear agitated or confused, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
