PHOTOS: A visual tour of new murals in Richmond

Jesse “Urban Aztec” Hernandez’s mural adds a bright splash of color to 111 Espee Avenue, and pays homage to Aztec deities. The piece features “Tlaloc” the Aztec rain god, and two serpents that represent Quetzalcoatl, the Feathered Serpent.

Downtown Richmond is a little brighter now thanks to the local muralists who participated in this year’s Bay Area Mural Festival. Rich City Rides is hosting a bike tour of the new murals this Sunday at 10 am.

Bay Area Mural Fest comes to Richmond this week
