Richmond runner takes on the country’s oldest 100-mile run

Jeff Pflueger, a Richmond resident, is racing in the United States’ oldest, and most renowned, 100 mile trail run—the Western States Endurance Race. Local derby teams face off this weekend

All four B.ay A.rea D.erby Girls teams will compete in the league’s Double Header Coastal Clash bout on Saturday night at The Craneway Pavilion in Richmond. The first match will be between the Oakland Outlaws and the San Francisco ShEvil Dead, followed by the Richmond Wrecking Belles and Berkeley Resistance. Track athlete awarded scholarship to Azusa Pacific University

Kennedy High School senior Allana Reames has been awarded an athletic scholarship to Azusa Pacific University for track and field. Reames is ranked in the top five students at Kennedy with a 4.0 grade point average.
