The Richmond High football team was getting slammed 42-0 in the last quarter of its game against Pinole Valley. The Varsity cheer team stood in position looking at the field, hands in the pockets of their matching jackets, trying to hold their stoic poses in the chilly air.

Exploring the unknown: Rod & Gun Club

A physician has delayed clearing Cal running back Jahvid Best’s return to the team after crashing head-first into the end zone and sustaining his second concussion in two weeks Saturday. HOMECOMING FOR EX-OILER: His team may have been outmatched Wednesday night, but Richmond High graduate Eli Holman had a strong individual showing in his return to the Bay Area, scoring 15 points for the University of Detroit in a 95-61 loss to Cal.
