Voter forum: Meet the two candidates for Richmond mayor

Richmond voters will select a new mayor in November, after a primary election in June whittled the field to two candidates: Ahmad Anderson and Claudia Jiménez.
Reporters and residents will have a chance to ask the candidates questions in a voter forum from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, at Richmond Memorial Auditorium, 403 Civic Center Plaza.
Richmond Confidential is co-hosting the event with Richmondside and The Advocate at Contra Costa College. The forum also will be live-streamed on the Richmond Confidential YouTube channel.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested.
