Welcome Back!

We’re back!
Richmond Confidential is a news site run by the first year master’s students at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. We’re excited to bring RichCon back to life this semester with new faces and talent.
Our staff is comprised of 16 students with a range of expertise, skills and years of experience. We pride ourselves on our diversity of backgrounds and experiences, with parts of our staff hailing from China, Mexico, all over the United States and more.
Each week, our staff will bring you a variety of news and feature stories surrounding the city of Richmond. Through text, photo and video, we hope to dig into the deepest parts of the city’s day-to-life through our coverage, and highlight residents young and old with our newest section, People of Richmond.
Have a tip? Reach out to any of our staff members.

Welcome to all of the new reporters! Thank you for reporting on the important news and events that shape our lives in our scrappy city by the Bay!
RichCon has always been a welcome addition to Richmond, We’ve becomes something of a news desert with the Chron and the Times only coming into town to dish dirt when they can.
Welcome back.
