Green Drive Expo brings clean energy cars to Richmond

on September 20, 2012

Electric, hybrid, solar, and biofuel car owners showed off their ecofriendly wheels at Saturday’s Green Drive Expo in Richmond.

The annual convention, which was free for those who pre-registered online, attracted dozens to Craneway Pavilion, where speakers shared insight on the state of the green vehicle industry and its future.

Founder Eric Powers called Richmond a “hidden gem” for the show, adding that he believes it has helped the local economy by bringing automakers to the region.
