Caspers Famous Hot Dogs has been a Richmond staple for more than 40 years. City councilman Corky Booze set up his election campaign headquarters there in 2010; many regulars call it home. For a glimpse into the favorite hot dog stand of Richmond, click on the short video above.

    The Richmond store has been in business at the same location since 1947. (64 years and counting)

    Caspers, you better watch out. The city council will be proposing an additional tax on your food next.

    We all know that hot dogs are fattening and have little or no nutritional value. Next they will be blaming you for the “obesity epidemic” in Richmond.
