Don’t bet on casino alternatives

Richmond voters rejected the proposal to build a casino at Point Molate, but residents who showed up at a public meeting Wednesday to discuss alternative proposals were no happier with those. It was the third and final public meeting before Berkeley design firm Design, Community & Environment presents its recommendations for Point Molate to the city.
