As a political and legal standoff between the city and its biggest taxpayer deepens, Chevron Corp. officials are hinting that their 107-year stay in Richmond may be in jeopardy.
Property tax proposed for June ballot
Richmond is the only city in Contra Costa County without its own paramedics, and council members said Tuesday that it will remain that way unless residents are willing to pay for greater services.
