Jerome is from the Bay Area, and was born in nearby Oakland. He earned a bachelors degree in Mass Communication from Grambling State University, where he worked for the Gambinite student newspaper. Jerome served as the lead sports writer at the Gambinite, and later as the sports editor. Since graduating in 2008, Jerome has also interned in the public relations departments of the St. Louis Rams and Indianapolis Colts of the NFL, and MLB’s Chicago White Sox. Jerome is interested in sports reporting and multimedia.
