Thanks to Kamila and to Richmond Confidential for shining a spotlight on my wonderful students! I have one correction, though: my students grew by 16 percent from their diagnostic to the first unit assessment rather than by 20 percent. I apologize for the error! Still, I think that they’re on track to make terrific growth. Also, to provide an update, the Richmond Book Drive has currently brought in more than 7,800 books for a total of over $60,000 spent on Amazon. On behalf of my students and other young people around Richmond, thank you!
