Each clinic pays enough city taxes in one year to hire one fire fighter and one police officer. libraries and school's get some of this tax money as well. So let me get this straight? Take away the 7 clinics in Richmond. Dont hire 7 new Police officers. Dont hire 7 new firefighters. Dont build a new school or library. And put A medicine back on the streets only to bring criminal activety. In a economy so low maybe the people might wake up. Hello people of earth. Duh. Just like liquor. The flaw in the city's reasoning is the presumptions that cannabis is a gateway drug, and that it's harmful. Remember, we already license and tax alcohol sales, and alcohol is a far more dangerous drug. Ask any police officer whether they'd rather arrest a person smoking pot or a person drunk. None of lies about cannabis are true. They're just the fearful exclamations of people who haven't researched the reality. Let's get sane about this. The drug shootings aren't about selling alcohol.
