Hello people of earth. Do you know Marijuana cuts certain lung tumors in half? Did you know Marijuana increases apatite for cancer patients? Marijuana kills alco
holic fatty cells destoyed by alcohol? Marijuana saves lives. So do police officers and firefighters. A medical marijuana clinic heals the sick. A marijuana clinic pays taxes. Each clinic pays enough city taxes in one year to hire one fire fighter and one police officer. libraries and school's get some of this tax money as well. So let me get this straight? Take away the 7 clinics in Richmond. Dont hire 7 new Police officers. Dont hire 7 new firefighters. Dont build a new school or library. And put A medicine back on the streets only to bring criminal activety. In a economy so low maybe the people might wake up.

The obvious solution is to license and tax the dispensaries, and prosecute street sales for tax avoidance. Duh. Just like liquor.

The flaw in the city's reasoning is the presumptions that cannabis is a gateway drug, and that it's harmful.

Remember, we already license and tax alcohol sales, and alcohol is a far more dangerous drug. Ask any police officer whether they'd rather arrest a person smoking pot or a person drunk.

None of lies about cannabis are true. They're just the fearful exclamations of people who haven't researched the reality.

Let's get sane about this. The drug shootings aren't about selling alcohol. They're about cannabis, made valuable simply by being an illegal and very desirable drug.

Make it legal, the price drops way down, it isn't worth shooting the place up about, and the city reaps tax and license revenue. Maybe Richmond could grow cannabis is the flower greenhouses on Richmond Parkway?
