We should unite as a community and oppose the construction of a casino in Richmond.
Who would come to a casino in Richmond? Who?

The bigger question is "why is Richmond allowing a casino to be built?"

Casinos prey on the under-resourced and under-educated, getting them addicted to hope which is a powerful narcotic. It's nothing more than a very expensive form of entertainment. Walnut Creek would never allow something like this ...because they're smarter than us.

Troughton sounds like a crook trying to cash in on a non-legal agreement. Shouldn't the council have needed to approve such an agreement for it to be binding? I suspect the City will have to defend a lawsuit and I hope they counter sue Troughton for wasting everyone's time.
